A DuoShare Partner is any organization that wants to use DuoShare web applications and our Virtual Store capabilities to serve their customers. With respect to DuoShare Address Quality Services, a Partner may set up a virtual store and provide address quality services to their customers. Under this arrangement, the Partner's business name becomes the Store name, and their logo is displayed throughout the DuoShare application. A partner's customer will go to http://ds.partnersdomain.com or similar URL, where "ds" refers to a specific DuoShare point-of-presence and "partnersdomain" is the normal domain name used by the Partner for their web site. The DuoShare name appears only in a "Powered by DuoShare" reference at the bottom of the web page.

DuoShare Partners benefit from not having to purchase, install, and support software systems, yet they are able to generate revenue and serve their customers in a ubiquitous manner, by providing secure worldwide Internet access to applications and data. DuoShare Address Quality Services are offered to Partners in a Virtual Store format, allowing Partners to receive a 20-50% discount off the retail price of DuoShare Address Quality Services depending on volume and level of service offered by the Partner to their customers.

DuoShare Partners manage their own customers, jobs, and provide technical support, while receiving free support from DuoShare. Online credit card payment processing is included, and amounts are deposited directly to DuoShare Partner bank accounts. For customers who require invoices, DuoShare automatically charges the DuoShare Partner account for the discounted charge, and the Partner bills the customer.

Finally, DuoShare Partners have the capability to provide end-to-end application services to their clients, and in the case of address quality and presort services, allow their customers to interact live with address data submitted; correcting addresses, uploading, downloading, as well as integrating front-end address quality routines into the front of their organizations. The DuoShare Partner program is truly a win-win proposition, offering marketing firms, mail houses, copy centers, printers, software consultants, list administrators, real estate brokerage firms and other businesses the opportunity to better serve their customers while earning additional profits.

Opportunities for Entrepreneurial Developers

DuoShare is interested in working with independent developers who are looking for new business opportunities.

Developers who identify a major application and write an interface to DuoShare can receive a negotiated portion of the Value Added Pricing revenue for each address validated through your interface. Essentially, we want you to give away the interface, and your revenue would come from validations, replacing your normal charge for the interface. This concept makes sense for a commercial application that has many users. The commercial application should be one that you know intimately, so you are well positioned for knowing how to write the interface. You should understand the commercial application inside and out, so the only learning curve for you will be with DuoShare, not the application being integrated with our web service.

The discount rate is determined by how much you do versus how much we do in terms of marketing, sales, support, and billing. If you have a virtual store and do all of your own marketing, sales, support, and billing, there is a greater discount and your revenue is higher. If you use the DuoShare Corporate Store and we take care of support and billing, then the discount is less. Discounts could range from approximately 20%-60%, depending on how much work an integrator is willing to do.
