Are you experiencing a problem when trying to login?
If you receive a "Page cannot be displayed" message or similar error when attempting to login, the problem may be due
to antivirus software or a firewall in use. If you have antivirus software such as Norton installed on your computer, that software may be preventing you from
accessing DuoShare. If your company uses a firewall, corporate IT departments often block all inbound and outbound ports
as a blanket approach to security, and the firewall could be blocking access to our ports. To determine if the problem is due to a firewall, try
logging in to DuoShare from another computer that is not behind the firewall, such as your home PC.
To resolve your access problem, try these solutions:
- Adjust, turn off or disable any antivirus and firewall software that may be installed on your computer. DuoShare has identified a number of
issues with Norton attempting to protect computers when it is not necessary, such as outbound ports,
identifying .csv address files as viruses, etc.
- Contact your company's IT department and tell them you need access to duoshare.com on ports 80 and 443. There is no security risk
when we ask you to contact our server on a specified port. Your IT department needs to know which ports to open to allow access to our server.
